Nick Mulgrew's 'Stations' longlisted for the Edge Hill Short Story Prize

David Philip is proud to announce that Nick Mulgrew's debut collection of short fiction, Stations, has been longlisted for the prestigious Edge Hill Short Story Prize in the U.K.

The Edge Hill Prize is currently the only UK-based award that "recognizes excellence in a published short story collection". Mulgrew is in esteemed company in this year's longlist, which includes Helen Oyeyemi, a Granta Best Young British Novelist, and Mark Haddon, author of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

The winner, which will be announced at Edinburgh International Book Festival in August, will receive a £10,000 prize. The shortlist will be announced by the end of June.

This is the first major recognition for Stations, which was released in South Africa in March 2016 to universal critical acclaim. You can buy your copy here.
